Security is one of the fundamental needs of human societies, and people consider it among the most essential aspects of their lives. As we know, Abraham Maslow is one of the most renowned humanistic psychologists in the world, who categorized human needs into five levels. In Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, security is considered even more important than physiological needs, and he strongly emphasized its positive or negative impact (lack of security).

In the realm of security, the psychological aspect often surpasses the physical one, and ensuring psychological security is significantly more challenging than physical security. In the field of physical security for commercial, administrative, or residential spaces, concerns can be somewhat alleviated using standard tools such as fences and alarm systems. However, when it comes to psychological security, the issue becomes much more complex, requiring advanced and modern tools and technologies to provide the necessary protection across various domains.

In addition to the possibility of breaking and shattering due to external factors such as impact from hard objects—like stones, axes, earthquakes, hail, or any other item—glass can also collapse due to a spontaneous fracture, commonly referred to as "glass suicide."
